Measuring Instructions In Stock Grilles (B frame)

LINEAR BAR GRILLES

Measure your opening, start with A - top to bottom and continue with B - left to right. It is recommended that you leave 1/16” clearance on all 4 sides for a proper fit. Our grilles are manufactured exact size, we will not deduct anything from the size you provide us. For example if your opening is 5-1/8”x 36-1/8” you should buy a 5”x 36” grille. If you require an access door, please make note of the door location in the opening. Our fabrication specialists can assist you with more complex projects and we offer on-site measurement for projects in the Tri-State area.

Here are 4 easy steps for getting the right grille:

  1. Measure the opening A x B.

  2. Determine clearance allowance needed (ex. 1/16” on each side).

  3. Calculate grille size: opening size minus clearance.

Chose material and finish and determine any special requests: mounting holes, doors, mounting tabs, etc.

Note: Screw Holes are only provided if requesting mountings #116 or #117.

Holes are placed .375” off edge to hole center UNLESS specified.

GRILLES WITH FLANGE

Linear Bar Grilles with flange will cover small gaps around the opening. A 1/16” clearance is recommended to ensure a proper fit. The flange will overlap the opening and can work as support for the grille.
