Measuring Instructions

PERFORATED GRILLES

Measure your opening, start with C - top to bottom and continue with D - left to right. Determine your border size, E = left to right and F = top to bottom and specify overall grille size A = top to bottom and B = left to right. If you need a stiffener the opening needs to fit the stiffener. It is recommended that you leave 1/16” clearance on all 4 sides for a proper fit. Our grilles are manufactured exact size, we will not deduct anything from the size you provide us. Our fabrication specialists can assist you with more complex projects and we offer on-site measurement for projects in the Tri-State area.

Here are 5 easy steps for getting the right grille:

  1. Measure the opening C x D.

  2. Determine border size E x F.

  3. Calculate grille overall size A x B.

  4. Chose Grille Pattern Style and Size, for example 200 Square Link, 1-1/4” pattern.

  5. Chose material and finish and determine any special requests: mounting holes, doors, mounting tabs, etc.

Note: Screw Holes are only provided if requesting mountings #201, #202 or #205.

Holes are placed .375” off edge of hole center UNLESS specified
